Once you get your own card, do not spend aimlessly. Use smart judgment and know when and not when to spend using your card. Remember, each charge that you use has rebates and cash back bonuses; however, there is also an interest rate. Make sure you are knowledgeable in all these things.

Having a student credit card is no joke. Even though you can afford to have one, better think first before you act upon on purchasing some items. Keep in mind to maintain a good credit and have good rapport on the company. Be a dependable customer and they will reward you for your loyalty.
