In my 3 years as a home based business consultant, I have talked to hundreds of people, all of them wanting to make money through starting their own homebased business. Unfortunately, a lot of them had tried other opportunities in the past that had not worked out for them. When asked why, the majority saidthat the business didnt work. It was a scam. However, when I asked them how much many hours per week they worked their business, it turns out they hadput forth little or no effort. So how they had been misinformed or led to believe that by simply having a home based business, they would become rich.With the U.S. economy the way it is now, there is no surprise that a lot of people are looking for other ways to make money outside of the income they earn at their job. Theres also no surprise that many of them are turning to the internet to earn money. Over 30,000 people per day are searching for some type of home based business.Ill be really honest with you, there are SCAMS out there. For instance, theres an ad that Ive been hearing on the radio lately where the guy basically gives the old spill about a home based business where you dont do any work, your computer does all of the work for you. Are you kidding me? Whoever believes that, please stand on your head!The sad reality is that a lot of people do believe that. They come into a home based business thinking that they can become a millionaire overnight and they dont have to put forth any effort in their business. When this is simply not true. The truth is a home based business takes hard work and dedication. To be successful in a home based business, you must have a strong enough why. Why you must succeed. You have to know what you want out of life and be determined to go out there and get it. You have to have the attitude that failure is not an option. This is what it takes to become a successful home based business owner. This is what it takes to be successful in life.
