While others think that The Bachelor is a mediocre dating show that has unbelievably survived 12 seasons despite not making enough relationships that do last, some couples have come out of it strong against the test of time. One example is the iconic relationship of Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, who began a relationship in the first season of The Bachelorette. In December of 2003, the two got married in a televised event and this year, they became the proud parents of baby Maxwell Alston. The two have been going strong despite the rumors that recently surfaced, saying that the two are considering a divorce. Recently, Trista spoke to MomLogic.com to clear out the false talks about a divorce.

Trista Sutter says "There is no validity to the rumors on the internet insinuating that Ryan and I are divorcing."

Moreover, she added that they are still happily in love, saying, "We are perfectly, 100% happy, and divorce has never been a topic of conversation and never will be."

Meanwhile, another Bachelor couple are facing controversy as Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas, the newest Bachelor couple, are reportedly getting married in Las Vegas . More rumors circulated that Matt was in it for a green card. However, he clarified that if he does face the altar with Shayne, it will be for love and nothing else but love.

"The whole green card thing, as funny as it is, is purely ridiculous," Matt recently told TMZ. "I mean come on. Are you serious with this? There are a lot easier ways to get a green card. I got found to be The Bachelor. I didn't apply."

"I did not do this for a green card. I come from a western country -- an affluent country -- and I love the States," he clarified. "But just for the record, I did not do this for a green card."

Hopefully, whoever began these rumors would realize that he has made a huge mistake in not doing his homework. Look it up in the internet and find that Matt Grant is w well-educated person with the means to enter the United States , with or without the help of the reality series. This is enough to conclude that someone like him won't get into a relationship just to land himself a green card.
