First of all cracks make me very nervous. If the program is good and above-board, why is a crack necessary? Also, doesnt the existence of a crack just scream Is this legal? It screams that for me, but to make sure I wasnt being close-minded in these opinions, I did some investigating. My first step was to go online and check out the program. I discovered the keygen crack with no trouble. I continued to examine other sites, though, and found a couple of sites that offer the program as a free download, for the first 90 days. Okay, now Im beginning to wonder exactly whats going on with this program. My next step was to the check out the availability of the Spyware Nuker download. On two of the sites I searched, the Nuker download came with warnings: Danger, computer user, Danger! Downloading this program could put potentially dangerous files on your computer! Now the hairs on the back of my neck were standing up. Isnt this program supposed to protect your computer from such dangerous files? Hmmmm. At this point, I decided I needed a non-biased opinion, so I went online to a site which provides consumer and editor ratings. Editors and consumers did not give the Spyware Nuker high marks. In fact, this program fell quite short of a number of other protection programs that not only offered more features, but were completely and absolutely free. When I say free, I mean free for all time. The consumer will be required to invest more and more money in this protection program, which to my mind is throwing good money after bad. So what alternative is available for the user? The user must now find a crack version. That brings us back to the question of legality. If I really think about it, though, when compared to the programs failings, the legality question fades into the background. The program gets low ratings from consumers and editors. It costs money after 90 days of a free trial, and there is no information on what the user gets with that purchase. So, what do you do instead? Search the Internet. There are dozens of highly rated protection programs out there. Many offer more options than the Spyware Nuker, plus they are free, absolutely free. No free trial period, no payment for downloads, nothing. Any of these programs with a four-star or higher rating should serve well for the everyday users of a home computer. Three strikes and youre out. Spyware Nuker doesnt even warrant a first look, much less a second one. Ignore this program and concentrate on the multitude of higher quality freeware programs that are available. Go to CNet, or a similar resource, and check out the protection programs. When you find one that is rated four stars of higher, give it a try. Any of the highly rated programs should readily suit the average home computer user. Bottom line? Leave Spyware Nuker alone, and keep your computer safe with better software.
