Chronic Fatigue

What will you do about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

Forget about an "official" diagnosis. Do you know anyone complaining of just being too tired too much of the time? Many, many people drag themselves through day after weary day with no idea how to regain the vitality long lost.

A fascinating research study at Johns Hopkins University was reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association a few years ago. They had discovered an amazing treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome that resulted in improved energy levels in 76% of people so afflicted.

What was the amazing discovery? Nothing more exotic than common table salt, sodium chloride. Can you imagine, giving all these tired people table salt? But it worked! Now if these people feel better with just salt, what clue does this give you? They have a real problem with an electrolyte problem.

The most common major complaint is FATIGUE. But wait, there’s more that typically goes with this imbalance:

Low Blood Pressure
Poor Circulation
Depression or Anxiety
Decreased Libido

By electrolyte problems we mean you lack certain mineral salts in your body fluids. Your low levels of mineral salts can be due to either an inadequate intake of minerals or is more likely due to your kidney’s inability to retain those minerals, such that your body loses minerals faster than you are taking them in. A low level of these minerals is typically associated with weakness in both your glandular systems and in your cardiovascular system.

So what the study found is that by ingesting table salt the symptoms will ease a little.

Have you seen Gatorade being advertised to “replenish the electrolytes”? What a shame. This isn’t going to do it.

Sometimes the problem is with low levels of the hormone renin; in others the major problem is adrenal; and still others it is largely a sex hormone problem. But you have to know which of the pure forms of amino acids, vitamin and mineral complexes and mineral salts to use. Hold the salt please.

Let’s look at three pure forms of Amino Acids.

The first is Phenylalanine. In a study, 72% of the chronic fatigue sufferers were found to have low levels of phenylalanine. Many of these people also suffered depression. The fatigue and depression resolved in the vast majority of these people with phenylalanine supplementation. There are many more benefits of this amino acid but all you need to know is that:

Phenylalanine is used to reverse your:
Fatigue
Depression
Mental fog
Low blood pressure
Low blood sugar

The next pure form of Amino Acid is Tyrosine. Tyrosine is very effective with depression and fatigue. You have probably heard about people who have narcolepsy. They have frequent and uncontrollable attacks of deep sleep. Now that’s fatigue at its extreme. A study published in the Lancet showed that within six months of Tyrosine supplementation every narcoleptic was free from daytime sleep attacks. In addition, Tyrosine has significant anti-histamine effect and benefits allergies. There are many more benefits with this amino acid but what you need to know is:

Tyrosine is used to reverse your:
Anemia
Allergies
Fatigue
Depression
Low blood pressure
Low blood sugar

Another pure Amino Acid we need to look at is Glutamine. When you do any type of exercise your body breaks itself down to produce energy. Glutamine is most important in stimulating muscle repair. If it’s not at an adequate level your body will become weak, tired and fatigued because of your body’s inability to repair and rebuild itself. For similar reasons glutamine has also been used to successfully treat impotence. There are many other significant uses for glutamine in the body but what you need to know is:

Glutamine is used to reduce your:
Acidosis
Protein wasting
Fatigue
Depression
Mental fog
Low blood sugar

We have often spoke about these people who have absolutely no power in their punch. Most commonly it’s because they’re electrolyte deficient. They’re like a deflated balloon begging to be pumped back up. They need the specific balance of electrolytes to do this. Drugs, herbs or even the adrenaline of exercise will artificially stimulate the body to run but will do little if anything to put the body in it’s correct bio-chemical balance. Really, what they will do, as you often see is create another problem along the way.

The approach to chronic fatigue syndrome (and all the other “tired” problems) addresses far more than the poor mineral retention and resulting low salt (electrolyte) levels of these fatigued people. We can now choose from many different yet specific mineral salts, plus several vitamin and mineral complexes, plus several pure forms of amino acids. Each to correct whatever aspects of mineral depletion applies to each particular person.

Are you concerned with how fatigued you are? Do you think you’ll have more energy next week or next month? Maybe it has to do with electrolyte insufficiency. A dietary change and a good supplement program will begin to eliminate these metabolic imbalances over time. The dietary changes and supplement program will begin to eliminate these metabolic imbalances over time.
