As we entered into an Information Age, internet is easily available to everyone that knows how to use it. Information spread around like wildfire and anybody has a free say in the internet, anything they want. There are opportunities sprouting as well, making money online is no longer a fairytale. Working adults who are looking for an alternative income source start to work from home using their computers. Students are getting involved in the internet marketing scene as well. There are of course boons and banes for them to start an online business though. They have limited resources, having a credit card may be a problem, setting up basic tools like hosting account and payment tools like Paypal becomes a problem. Besides, with little or no experience, they are easy targets for the sharks lurking around, waiting to rip them off their allowance. When the going gets tough, its easy for them to call it a day losing small sums of money. It is hard to focus between studies and having an online business at the same time. The advantages for the students are:Low debts- They have little bills to pay off, perhaps mobile phone, entertainment fee, most of their expenses are covered by their parents. They do not have to set aside funds to make payment for their housing loans, necessities, retirement fund, etc.Time- Even though, studying now is much harder with much more competition, students have more time to maintain an online business compared to a working adult. More small online stores selling clothes, books, gaming start to appear in the internet, most of them are operated part-time by these students. Learning capability- It is true that we will pick up things fast when we are young, probably at then, we have a larger storage space in our brains. Internet marketing can takes years to learn and set up a successful business, starting young will certainly be much more rewarding as we grow older.Low cost- Because of the virtual space that internet provides, setting up stores to sell physical products becomes much easier, coupled with popular websites like Ebay providing wonderful opportunities, students working from home using computers can easily set up a low cost business compared to a traditional business.Learning to start an internet marketing business isnt easy, but as we learn, we will grow. Things will be get easier the more we keep doing it. Start young, learn fast, earn more and retire rich. Well, at least that is my dream!
