Although this season of So You Think You Can Dance has been focusing on its male dancers, with 2 or 3 males shown for every female dancer during the audition, the judges put 10 female contenders on stage and are now power ranked according to their past performance. The competition is still on its early stage. It still hard to determine the factors that would make a dancer stay or go. Most of the female dancers share a common problem though: they did not have much exposure during the auditions. With this, they must step it up for the next episode in order to gain the viewers’ support. On the other hand, others just need some strong male partners in order to advance.

10. Katee Shean

Too bad because personality counts in the competition. Although Katee Shean is a talented dancer, the judges couldn’t just let what she said during the Vegas callback, pass. She said she wouldn’t return if she wouldn’t make it to top 20. Mia Michaels was really irritated by what Katee said, saying that at her age, Katee shouldn’t give up that easily if she really wants to become a successful dancer. Katee must step it up on the live performance in order to save herself from being eliminated.

9. Susie Garcia

Although Susie can really dance, she doesn’t have much personality. There’s nothing spectacular about her. Sometimes, she even looks like a glorified stripper that it’s hard to think that she’s actually a high school teacher. Yes, sex appeal is a factor but it is not the only thing that would carry her to finals. She really needed to step it up on ballroom numbers if she wants to stay longer in the competition.

8 & 7. Rayven Armijo and Jessica King

These two girls have a serious exposure problem. The viewers hardly even know them. They may be full of talent but viewers wouldn’t know that because there is no available video of them anywhere online.

6. Kherington Payne

Kherington Payne can really dance and she has great personality. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have the “it” factor as other girls can also do whatever she brings on the floor.

5. Kourtni Lind

Kourtni Lind is one of the female dancers to watch this season. She definitely has power in her moves and certainly does well in the hip hop genre.

4. Chelsea Traille

Chelsea would surely go far this season with her serious dance moves and energy on the stage. But just like Rayven and Jessica, she doesn’t have enough exposure time for the viewers to see what she really got.

3. Comfort Fedoke

Comfort is part of the good group in Vegas that performed “Every Breath You Take.” Although she struggled with her ballroom number, Comfort will surely not stop until she perfects all dance genres. Her sheer determination and surviving attitude would carry her to the top.

2. Chelsie Hightower

Chelsie is a talented ballroom dancer whose moves are similar to last season’s Lacey Scwimmer. Given that she would deliver a consistent performance every week, Chelsie would sure go far just like Lacey who made it to final four.

1. Courtney Galiano

Courtney Galiano has it all. She is a total package. She got the look, the personality and certainly the dance moves, being an exceptional technical dancer. She had a great amount of camera time during the audition which would surely give her the early advantage.
