With Prison Break set to begin season 4 in August, its third season DVD will likewise be out the same month, within three days of the fourth season premiere. The four-disc set slated to retail for $31.99, is scheduled for release in North America August 28. As a refresher, season 3 followed our hero, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), in yet another prison, this time within the walls of the hellish Panamanian facility known as Sona. He is languishing in the lawless hellhole along with some familiar faces from his former place of confinement. Michael is once again given the impossible task of breaking out of this correctional, made even more daunting by the presence of Sona’s kingpin, Lechero (Robert Wisdom), and his band of henchmen. To add to his woes, Michael also has to deliver a fellow Sona inmate by the name of Whistler (Chris Vance), to the ruthless Susan B. aka Gretchen (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe). If he doesn’t, his doctor girlfriend Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) and his nephew LJ (Marshall Allman) are put on ice. We all know that Sara did, supposedly, suffer the wrath of Susan B., getting her pretty little head taken off and delivered specially boxed to Lincoln. Well, that was the misapprehension we were made to work with as the season progressed. We’ve since discovered that Sara Tancredi is, in fact, alive, well and part of the returning cast in the coming season. With regards to season 4, several photos of lead star Wentworth Miller recently surfaced on Just Jared. Among the shots are of Miller dressed as a waiter and carrying boxes to a parking lot. Those were allegedly from scenes shot at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. Still other pictures had Miller’s character all spiffy in a black suit while running with another actor, who looked to be an agent. Ahead of Miller’s stills going public, images of his onscreen brother Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) with LJ and Sofia (Danay Garcia) seem to indicate that father and son have stayed on with Whistler’s former flame. Prison Break returns with season 4 August 25 at 9pm.
