Fans of the coming-of-age drama, One Tree Hill, will be delighted to know that its fifth season will be out on DVD come August. According to Warner Home Video, season 5 of the popular show will be released on DVD August 26. The said One Tree Hill compilation will contain all 18 installments of the fifth season, along with some juicy bonus features, all presented in anamorphic widescreen format and Dolby 5.1 surround sound. As avid One Tree Hill followers may recall, among season 5’s most memorable moments were the nanny Carrie debacle as well as the unforgettable turns of the ex-Mr. Britney Spears, Kevin “K-Fed” Federline. Here’s a peep at what One Tree Hill fans can look forward to on the coming season 5 DVD. Always a source of insight, laughter and endless hours of voyeuristic viewing pleasure, One Tree Hill’s fifth season compilation will include scenes that wound up on the cutting room floor and never made it to the small screen. There will also be commentaries on a couple of episodes courtesy of series creator, Mark Schwahn, and a few of his key cast and crew members. Equally entertaining as the unaired sequences, the One Tree Hill fifth season disc set also boasts of the ever-popular gag reel collection. There will also be three special features: “One Tree Hill Fast Forward,” “One Tree Hill at 100” and “One Tree Hill Musical Stars.” “One Tree Hill Fast Forward” involves the series creators and cast members offering their insights on what One Tree Hill would look like four years later in the lives of the characters. “One Tree Hill Musical Stars” serves up a peek into guest performers Kevin Federline and Kate Voegele at Work Behind the Scenes on Set and Making the Music. Finally, “One Tree Hill at 100” looks back on the show’s 100th episode feat.
