While the show is on hiatus between seasons, the men of Gossip Girl have decided to hit the big screen with a few films to star in. Recently, it was announced that Chace Crawford, who plays Nate Archibald in the series, will be appearing in a Halloween flick entitled The Haunting of Molly Hartley, which is directed by Everwood's producer, Mickey Liddell. It also features other TV actors such as Jack Weber of Medium, AnnaLynne McCord of the new 90210, and Shannon Marie Woodward of The Riches. Moreover, Chace isn't the only one to head to the big screen now that he's temporarily free from Gossip Girl. In fact, Blake Lively will be busy in the next couple of months as she gears up to make the sequel of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which will bring back co-stars Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls), America Ferrera (Ugly Betty), and Amber Tamblyn (Joan of Arcadia). The film is set to be released in August 6 and will follow the girls as they pursue different paths after high school. Aside from Travelling Pants, Lively will also be appearing alongside Shia LaBeouf and Natalie Portman in New York, I Love You, an anthology showcasing love lives in New York. As for Serena's Dan (Penn Badgley), he will be taking on Forever Strong and The Stepfather, in which Amber Heard will co-star. Lil' sis Jenny (Taylor Momsen) will be appearing in Doubting Thomas while daddy Matthew Settle will be appearing in Ex-Terminators. Last but not the least we have Chuck, who will also take on a horror film entitled 100 Feet and S. Darko, the sequel to Donnie Darko.
