Educational games to play should probably be our number one choice as parents in the variety of games selection.

The best part of playing educational games is that they encourage our kids to learn about different subject matter, develop math, reading and social skills, provide interactive environment for having fun and acquiring knowledge at the same time. Below we reviewed most popular educational games that every parent should have.

One of the most popular games in the educational category is Knowledge Adventures JumpStart Learning System, the number one selling grade-based educational system. It offers a comprehensive solution for preparing your kids for success in school.

JumpStart is designed to grow with your childs learning needs over the years as the series is designed for kids from infancy through preadolescence. The games combine adventure, puzzle and problem-solving and typically feature a printable progress report.

At The Game of Life, a game published by Atari, you make major life decisions including selecting a college, choosing a career, getting married, starting a family, buying a house and eventually retiring. With virtually unlimited options this game will train your child in making decisions.

The next game we recommend is Lets Explore the Farm, which is also published by Atari. The game provides all of the fun, energy and excitement of a real working farm.

And finally our favorite educational game to play is Knowledge Adventures Math Blaster: Master the Basics for ages 6-12 years old. This fast-action, futuristic adventure teaches your child addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Your child will build confidence, speed and accuracy in basic math skills that will stay with him long after his mission is complete.
