Many women enjoy having spa like treatment when they are getting a manicure
or a pedicure. Some places offer this feeling while others try to get you in
and out as fast they can. So why not try to have to the experience at home?

With technology you can have the spa like treatment you have always enjoyed
in the privacy of your own home. To do this all you need to do is purchase
the equipment you would like to have at home. My choice was a paraffin wax
spa that I purchased at a local retail store. This wax spa was inexpensive
and incredibly easy to use.

When you purchase the paraffin wax spa be sure to get one that comes with the
starter kit. This kit will include the amount of paraffin wax you will need
to get your first use under way, a pair of microfiber gloves, and a package
of glove liners.

Once you get home and are ready to set it up all you have to do is break the
blocks of wax and place them in the wax spa, turn the spa on and let it set
for about an hour (time depends on the type of spa and the amount of wax
used). Before you begin melting the wax make sure you read the instructions
and remove the plastic rack from the bottom of the spa. This plastic rack
protects your hands and feet from being burned when you are using the spa.
Once the wax is melted insert the plastic rack and let it set on the bottom
of the spa.

After the wax has melted turn the heat down and begin using. Simply dip your
hand, foot, or elbow in the warm wax, remove it and wait approximately three
seconds and dip your hand again. After removing your hand let the wax set for
about 15-30 minutes. You may place a glove liner on your hand over the wax
and then place a glove over the liner. This will help hold in the heat so
your hands stay warm, thus helping with any joint or muscle pain.

Once you have waited the recommended amount of time and the wax has hardened,
remove the glove and liner and simply begin peeling the wax from your hand.
The paraffin oils will help moisturize your hands, feet and elbows. Be sure
to discard any used wax, do not try to re-use any wax. Also, any wax that is
left over when you are done using the spa can be reheated when you are ready
to use it again. With each use you must add wax to the spa, you may purchase
the paraffin wax at any retail store such as Wal-Mart, Target, K Mart, and
even Walgreen's.

The first question that came to my mind before I purchased my paraffin wax
spa was, does it really work? After the first use of my spa I have found
that it does work and quite well. The wax not only helps moisturize your
skin it also helps remove any dead skin that may be on your hands, feet, or
elbows, leaving your skin feeling softer than ever. Don't just take my word
for it, try it for yourself today.
